Regional Sales Manager – Residential Fire

About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Bi-lingual Regional Sales Manager in the province of Quebec to join the Canadian Kidde Global Solutions (KGS) team. This individual contributor role manages sales performance in the Quebec and Atlantic Provinces across the Electrical Wholesale, Fire Equipment Distributors, and Industrial distribution channels, while also engaging heavily with end‑user influencers including contractors, builders, property maintenance teams, and specifiers. The selected candidate is responsible for daily execution of regional sales strategies, distributor & rep agency engagement, and end‑user influence to drive growth across the Kidde, Badger, and Edwards Signaling product portfolios. The role reports directly to the Vice President or Regional Sales Director & is part of a fast-paced, growing, & transforming sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
To expand preference for KGS brands at the specifying and installation level, the RSM will: Build strong relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, property maintenance teams, specifiers, and engineering firms
Provide end‑user education on product advantages, code compliance, and application best practices
Drive pull‑through demand by influencing brand preference at the contractor and specifier levels
Support quotation activities and ensure alignment between end‑user requirements and distributor execution
Regional travel up to 50% in territory (Quebec and Atlantic Provinces)
Basic Qualifications
Education/Certifications: BA/BS degree with 4+ years of sales experience
3+ years developing and executing strategic sales plans
Both written and verbal fluency in the French and English languages
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to influence contractors, builders, property managers, and specifiers
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of products
Experience in Electrical and/or Fire Equipment distribution channels
Ability to work in direct and matrixed environments
Knowledge of Canadian fire and building codes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to manage challenging customer conversations
CRM understanding & knowledge, particularly Salesforce
Proven ability to influence contractors, builders, property managers, and specifiers
