The Opportunity:

We're seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our agency's growth by identifying and securing new client partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition:

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within target industries and sectors.

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market research.

  • Conduct compelling sales presentations, pitches, and proposals to prospective clients, effectively articulating our agency's value proposition and tailored solutions.

  • Lead negotiations and close new business deals to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Collaborate with the agency's strategy, creative, and accounts teams to develop customized media solutions that meet client objectives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new growth areas.

Seminar & Workshop Facilitation:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative seminars, workshops, and webinars for prospective clients and industry groups on relevant media, advertising, and marketing topics 

  • Tailor seminar content to address the specific needs and pain points of target audiences.

  • Utilize seminars as a lead generation tool, nurturing relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.

  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, actively promoting our services and capabilities.

  • Gather feedback from seminar attendees to continuously improve content and delivery.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding phase, ensuring a smooth transition to the dedicated account management team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, or a related analytical field.

  • 3 years of demonstrable experience in business development or sales within a media agency, advertising agency, or digital marketing firm, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing and/or brand strategy. 

  • A deep understanding of "Brandformance" concepts and strategies, and the ability to articulate how they drive integrated value for clients.

  • Proven experience and exceptional ability in public speaking, conducting persuasive presentations, and facilitating interactive workshops/seminars, particularly on complex marketing topics.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, connect brand metrics to performance KPIs, and present data-driven insights.

  • Solid understanding of the Philippine media landscape, digital advertising ecosystems (e.g., programmatic, social, search), and emerging marketing technologies.

  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing a robust sales pipeline and multiple initiatives independently.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and advanced presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven agency environment.
