→Assist with basic food preparation, including preparing ingredients and plating food.
→Support the lunchtime service and serve food and drinks in a friendly and professional manner.
→Keep the kitchen, serving areas and dining spaces clean, tidy and well presented.
→Support the Catering Manager with opening, lunchtime service and closing duties.
→Wash up, clean equipment and ensure workspaces are cleared and organised.
→Restock food, drinks, consumables and cleaning supplies.
→Help maintain appropriate stock rotation and reduce food and material waste.
→Follow food hygiene, allergen awareness, cleaning and health and safety procedures.
→Report any equipment faults, hazards, stock issues or other concerns to the Catering Manager.
→Support other reasonable catering duties as required.

A friendly, approachable and positive attitude.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
Able to work effectively as part of a small team.
Comfortable working in a busy environment during lunchtime service.
Good communication skills.
Able to follow instructions and established procedures.
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in.
Previous catering or kitchen experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential as training will be provided.
