About LARVOL
LARVOL is a healthcare SaaS company specializing in oncology intelligence. Our products help pharmaceutical companies and life sciences teams make sense of the oncology landscape: drug development, clinical trials, competitive activity, and emerging science. We are a fully distributed, globally remote team.
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Solutions Consultant to engage directly with our enterprise customers. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who brings a strong scientific foundation and the drive to take on customer-facing engagement quickly. You will run demos, lead consultative conversations, surface customer use cases across our product suite, and partner with our AI and product teams to translate what you hear into platform direction.
This role requires a scientific or technical educational background in life sciences, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, or a related field. We are not considering candidates whose primary background is in operations, IT, application support, project management, finance, or general customer success, even if obtained at a healthcare or pharmaceutical company.
What You'll Do
- Lead consultative customer conversations with enterprise accounts, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech, and external consultancies
- Run platform demos tailored to each customer's oncology workflows and competitive questions
- Help customers identify use cases they cannot yet articulate on their own
- Translate customer needs and feedback into actionable input for the AI, product, and engineering teams
- Partner with the Director of AI and Data Science to ensure customer-driven priorities shape product evolution
- Support enterprise account growth and expansion across our product portfolio, including contributing to late-stage deal conversations and solution design.
- Partner with commercial teams on pre-sales and solutioning, helping shape proposals, navigate stakeholder dynamics, and drive deal closure
- Stay current on the oncology and pharma intelligence landscape
What We're Looking For
Required
- Educational background in life sciences, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences, computational biology, pharmacy, or a related scientific or technical field
- Strong consultative communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with clinical research teams, and medical affairs professionals
- US-level English proficiency, both written and spoken
- Comfort learning and demonstrating SaaS platforms
- Self-directed, comfortable operating as an independent contractor in a fully remote and globally distributed team
- Experience supporting enterprise account growth and expansion in a B2B environment
- Availability during US business hours
Preferred:
- Background in oncology specifically
- Master's degree or PhD (in progress or completed) in a relevant field
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical competitive intelligence, medical science liaison work, scientific consulting, or oncology-focused SaaS
This Role Is Not a Fit If
- Your background is in operations, IT, application support, project management, finance, agile or scrum, or general customer success, even at a healthcare or pharmaceutical company
- Your customer success, solutions consulting, or account management experience is rooted in non-life-sciences sectors (e.g., HR software, fintech, marketing technology, general enterprise SaaS).
- You require regular in-person collaboration or office presence
What We Offer
- Independent contractor engagement with full flexibility on where you work
- 100% remote, 100% of the time. No required travel
- High-impact role with direct CEO engagement and visibility across the business
- Opportunity to shape customer outcomes and product direction for a category-leading oncology intelligence platform
- Compensation commensurate with experience
