About the Role

One of our operating companies, Lancom, is looking for a Talent & People Partner to join their team in Auckland.

This is a hands-on, generalist role for someone who enjoys operating across the full employee lifecycle while partnering closely with leadership to shape culture, capability and people strategy.

Reporting to the CEO and supported by the Fractional Integrator, you will play a key role in driving recruitment, employee engagement, learning and development, HR operations, compliance and wellbeing initiatives across both local and remote teams.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

As the organisation continues to grow, there is strong long-term potential for the role to evolve into a People & Culture Manager position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning initiatives
  • Partner with leaders across the business on employee relations and people management matters
  • Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures and compliance across NZ and Australian employment legislation
  • Drive engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the organisation
  • Coordinate learning and development programmes aligned to business capability needs
  • Support remuneration and performance review processes
  • Manage HR operations including offboarding, HRIS administration, reporting and compliance activities
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing
  • Work collaboratively with remote workforce providers to ensure consistent people practices and employee experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist Talent & People role
  • Previous experience within technology, MSP or professional services environments preferred
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Knowledge of New Zealand employment law and health & safety requirements
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities 
  • High emotional intelligence with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working with HR systems and people data
  • Coaching experience or qualifications highly regarded
  • Exposure to Australian employment law advantageous
