The Sales Manager India (Delhi) actively contributes to achieving the sales targets set by the Sales Director. The role involves intensive customer contact with new and existing customers in the Water Business, selling membrane modules to OEM´s, municipal and industrial customers. Generation of new leads as well as maintaining a strong network to the stakeholders of the water business in the region is also an important part. The purpose of the role is to manage and expand existing sales activities, finding new leads and develop lasting relationships with NX Filtration customers and stakeholders within the water segment.
Develops and maintains strong relationships based on mutual trust, respect and cooperation with direct international clients.
Prepares and submits proposals and quotations to customers.
Coordinates sales activities and communicates customer requirements with other departments such as order management, marketing, production, logistics, operations and engineering.
Attends trade fairs and helps select and prepare samples and promotional materials.
Maximizing sales and gross margin of standard products and components.
Negotiating and closing sales contracts.
Generating sales opportunities and leads.
Developing those leads to pilot trajectories to projects by renting out pilots (either NX pilots, or OEM pilots, or customer pilots).
Supports Engineers in communicating with customers during the delivery and implementation phases of a project.
Provides market feedback to the Sales Manager on industry developments, customers, competitors and identifies trends and related requirements.
Working with clear sales targets set in collaboration with the Sales Director.
Ensures systematic follow-up of offers issued and records them in the CRM system (Salesforce).
Maintains and analyses sales statistics based on key quantitative data.
Registers leads and proposals in the CRM system.
BSc. or MSc. in a commercial or technical field of study.
Work experience in a sales-driven role.
Experience in using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
Strong time management skills due to the international nature of the role.
Command of the English languages in word and writing, proficiency in other foreign languages is desirable.
International customer contact, resulting in sometimes flexible working hours.
Travel is necessary for proper execution of the role and customer contact on site.
Experience in water business, especially membrane technology is desirable.
Experience in using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
