~1 min readPartsSource is seeking an experienced, quota-carrying Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and account expansion across federal and state healthcare organizations. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio that includes agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Health Agency, Indian Health Service, CDC, FDA, and state healthcare systems.
You'll partner with procurement, supply chain, healthcare technology management (HTM), facilities, compliance, and executive stakeholders to help improve equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and healthcare delivery through PartsSource's healthcare technology platform and service solutions.
This is a highly visible role offering significant revenue responsibility, executive exposure, and the opportunity to expand PartsSource's presence across the federal and state healthcare market.

~1 min readAs a Strategic Account Executive, Government Healthcare, you will develop and execute growth strategies across federal and state government healthcare accounts while managing the full customer lifecycle, including strategic planning, expansion opportunities, contract renewals, and executive relationship management.
Success in this role requires experience navigating complex government procurement processes, building executive-level relationships, and managing long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, budgeting processes, and regulatory requirements.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to government healthcare organizations while helping them optimize equipment lifecycle management, operational performance, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Own revenue growth, retention, and expansion across assigned federal and state government healthcare accounts
- Develop account strategies that identify opportunities across facilities, departments, and service lines
- Build a deep understanding of customer organizational structures, procurement processes, funding mechanisms, and operational priorities
- Establish trusted relationships with healthcare technology management (HTM), supply chain, facilities, contracting, compliance, and executive stakeholders
- Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, contract execution, and renewal
- Drive expansion opportunities through equipment lifecycle management services, healthcare technology solutions, and operational support programs
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Contracts, Legal, and Solutions teams to align customer requirements with PartsSource offerings
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline
- Navigate federal and state procurement frameworks, including GSA schedules, BPAs, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
- Lead strategic response efforts for complex government opportunities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure proposal quality, compliance, and contract accuracy
- Monitor regulatory and funding trends impacting federal and state healthcare agencies
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned government accounts
- Conduct executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions
- Identify organizational priorities, emerging needs, and long-term growth opportunities
- Gather customer insights and market intelligence to strengthen PartsSource's government healthcare strategy
Requirements
~1 min read- 10+ years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, government sales, healthcare technology, healthcare IT, or complex B2B sales experience
- Experience managing high-value accounts with annual contract values ranging from $500K to $5M+
- Knowledge of federal government and state government procurement environments
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long buying processes
- Track record of developing executive-level relationships within large organizations
- Strong business acumen, forecasting, pricing, contract negotiation, and account planning capabilities
- Healthcare Technology (HealthTech), Healthcare Software, SaaS, Medical Equipment, Biomedical Services, HTM, or Healthcare Operations experience
- Experience selling into the Department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Health Agency, Indian Health Service, CDC, FDA, or state healthcare systems
- Experience working with government contracting vehicles and procurement frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or a related field
