Meal Cook

Pharma Medica Research is a full-service contract research organization specialized in conducting early-phase clinical trials in healthy volunteers, special and patient populations. We have an exciting opportunity for a Meal Cook to join our Scarborough team!

The Meal Cook provides all necessary dietary requirements for clinic studies according to the study protocols and guidelines at Pharma Medica Research Inc. (PMRI). To perform the job quickly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and orderly manner throughout their shift. This position reports to the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef. Will functionally report to the Study Coordinators for the duration of a Study.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of dietary requirements for clinical studies.
• Follow proper requirements to ensure consistent and uniformed meals.
• Prepare menus and meals as required according to study protocol.
• Maintain the kitchen in a proper and acceptable fashion according to health requirements.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Follow cleaning procedures and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Perform defined work routines using various utensils, supplies and equipment.
• Occasionally assist in serving meals to subjects.
• Occasionally maintain the eating area throughout mealtime and clean up after subjects' meals.
• Other duties as required.
