About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking an experienced FMCG Sales Manager to drive sales growth, expand market share, and manage key customer relationships across the non-food FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in distributor management, modern trade, traditional trade, and business development within categories such as household products, personal care, cleaning products, paper goods, or related non-food consumer goods.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- →Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
- →Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
- →Lead negotiations on commercial agreements, pricing, promotions, and annual contracts.
- →Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- →Develop and implement trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
- →Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning processes.
- →Ensure optimal product availability, distribution coverage, and merchandising standards.
- →Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
- →Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for senior management.
- →Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory management and customer service.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of sales experience within FMCG, preferably in non-food categories.
- Proven experience managing distributors, key accounts, and retail channels.
- Strong knowledge of modern trade, traditional trade, and wholesale markets.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
