Sr Sales Representative – Ethnic Food (bilingual - Chicago based)

Through CJ Foods USA's Ethnic Sales Division, we offer a vast array of authentic Asian flavors to ethnic retail stores throughout the Americas. Our popular brands include bibigo® and Twin Marquis® products, along with a variety of imported offerings from our parent company, CJ CheilJedang.

We’re looking for a dynamic, English-Korean bilingual Sr Sales Representative professional to join our growing sales team and make an immediate impact. In this role you will be responsible for uncovering and developing new prospects as well as continuing to focus on our existing customers to increase sales of our products. You will collaborate with customers to uncover what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. We are looking for someone who is creative, customer centric and solutions oriented who resides in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.

What You Will Do:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts to achieve sales goals
• Develop and execute sales plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and cross-functional partners
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, resolving issues and ensuring high service levels
• Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market opportunities to drive growth
• Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and in-store promotional events
• Coordinate operational activities including account management, order execution, and receivables
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer initiatives and overall business strategy
• Travel: Approximately one trip to Texas per month, depending on business needs.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent years of work experience) and 5+ years’ experience in Asian Food Sales
• Must be bi-lingual in both English and Korean for this role
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 – $113,000 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
