We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive to manage and develop commercial vehicle sales across our dealership operations in Anuradhapura, Yakkala, and Ehiliyagoda. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating commercial vehicle sales through field operations, fleet accounts, contractor relationships, business development activities, and institutional customer engagement.
This role focuses on expanding commercial vehicle sales while building strong customer relationships and supporting sales growth across trucks, light commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, and commercial EVs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Generate commercial vehicle sales through field visits, customer meetings, contractor engagement, business networking, and institutional sales activities.
- →Identify and develop opportunities with businesses, transport operators, fleet owners, construction companies, contractors, logistics providers, agricultural businesses, and government-related customers.
- →Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations, customer meetings, and prepare quotations and sales proposals.
- →Coordinate vehicle financing support and leasing arrangements where required.
- →Manage the full sales pipeline, including lead generation, follow-ups, customer relationship management, and sales conversions.
- →Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, leasing companies, banks, fleet operators, and regional partners.
- →Support marketing initiatives such as roadshows, trade events, promotional campaigns, and regional activations.
- →Work closely with service, spare parts, and operational teams to ensure effective after-sales support and long-term customer satisfaction.
- →Prepare regular sales reports, market intelligence updates, competitor analysis, and customer pipeline reports.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2–5 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, field sales, or fleet account management.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle operations and customer requirements.
- Experience working with fleet customers, contractors, businesses, or institutional clients.
- Ability to generate leads and manage field-based sales activities.
- Good understanding of vehicle financing, leasing, and fleet acquisition processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned territories and conduct customer visits.
- Strong target-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala; Tamil would be an added advantage.
- Diploma or qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Existing relationships with contractors, businesses, fleet owners, or leasing companies.
- Experience in truck, light commercial vehicle, or fleet sales.
- Familiarity with CRM or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Experience handling government or institutional procurement inquiries.
