Our client is a fast-growing Healthcare Staffing Technology company that helps staffing firms streamline recruiting through an innovative SaaS platform. Their software integrates with leading Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), enabling healthcare staffing agencies to manage recruiting workflows more efficiently, improve collaboration, and place talent faster.

After several years of successful founder-led growth, they are building their first dedicated commercial team to support the next stage of expansion. This is an opportunity to join early, work directly with company leadership, and make a meaningful impact on future growth.


This is an exciting opportunity for a consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering customer challenges, and guiding prospects through a complete sales journey.

Unlike a traditional Business Development Representative role that simply books meetings, this position offers exposure to the full sales cycle. You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, leading discovery conversations, presenting software demonstrations, and progressing opportunities through the pipeline while working alongside company leadership and a Sales Engineer on more technical discussions.

As the business grows, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership of the sales cycle and develop into a fully independent Account Executive.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage healthcare staffing companies through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Execute consistent outbound activity while maintaining a consultative, relationship-first sales approach.
  • Leverage structured outreach campaigns while tailoring conversations to each prospect's unique business challenges.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand each prospect's recruitment processes, operational pain points, and technology ecosystem.
  • Lead engaging software demonstrations that clearly communicate business value and operational improvements.
  • Partner with the company's Sales Engineer during technical discussions or complex implementation conversations.
  • Position solutions based on business outcomes rather than product features alone.
  • Manage opportunities from initial outreach through commercial discussions and closing support.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and follow-up schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with founders throughout the sales process.
  • Build long-term client relationships that support future account growth.
  • Stay informed on trends within Healthcare Staffing, Recruitment Technology, and HR Tech.
  • Share customer insights to improve messaging, positioning, and product development.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion within existing customer relationships.

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Executive, SDR, BDR, or SaaS sales roles.
  • Proven experience generating outbound opportunities and managing consultative sales conversations.
  • Comfortable presenting software solutions to business stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while consistently achieving activity and sales targets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling SaaS, HR Technology, Recruitment Technology, ATS platforms, or Staffing Technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Bullhorn, Vincere, JobAdder, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar platforms.
  • Experience selling into healthcare staffing agencies, recruitment firms, or workforce management organizations.
  • Experience managing consultative B2B sales cycles.
  • Experience working alongside Sales Engineers or technical implementation teams.

You naturally build trust with decision-makers and understand that strong business relationships create long-term commercial success.

You ask thoughtful questions, actively listen, and recommend solutions based on customer needs rather than following a rigid sales script.

You enjoy outbound prospecting, remain motivated through rejection, and consistently create new business opportunities.

You enjoy understanding how businesses operate and quickly learn new products, industries, and technologies.

You maintain excellent CRM discipline, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and consistently follow through on commitments.


This role represents one of the company's first dedicated commercial hires and will play a key role in scaling the business beyond founder-led sales.

You'll work directly alongside experienced founders, gain exposure to the full sales process, and help shape the future of a rapidly growing Healthcare Technology company.
