Spire St Anthony's Hospital are looking for a Bank Chef to join our Catering team on a flexible bank basis. This role will cover annual leave, sickness and busy periods, with shifts available between 7am – 6pm, including some weekends.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef who enjoys working in a professional environment and delivering high-quality food and service to patients, staff and consultants.

Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London.

Responsibilities

→Support with the preparation and cooking of meals
→Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors
→Assist with food orders and dietary requirements
→Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
→Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
→Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
→Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification
Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
Experience preparing meals for large numbers
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
