Spring Health is actively seeking a Manager, Business Development Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Business Development and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing leadership, you will lead a high-performing team of BDRs to drive pipeline growth and market expansion.
This is a full-time position based in our New York City headquarters with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days in-office per week. Occasional travel may be required for team or company events/meetings.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives to exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline and revenue targets.
- →Conduct weekly 1:1 coaching sessions focused on professional development, tactical skill-building, and goal alignment.
- →Leverage AI tools and data analytics to interpret team metrics, identifying trends to optimize outreach strategies and team outcomes.
- →Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and execute scalable go-to-market strategies.
- →Recruit, hire, and onboard new BDRs, ensuring a high-velocity ramp-up period and a culture of belonging.
- →Refine prospecting processes to ensure they are measurable, predictable, and aligned with company growth goals.
- →Provide regular data-driven updates to leadership on strategy effectiveness and team performance.
- →Review sales outreach and provide real-time feedback to improve messaging resonance and conversion rates.
- →Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning through hands-on training and career pathing.
- →Identify and implement operational improvements to increase team efficiency and productivity.
- Achieve 100% or greater of team-wide monthly and quarterly qualified lead and pipeline generation targets.
- Maintain a high retention and promotion rate within the BDR team through consistent coaching and development.
- Optimize the BDR-to-AE handoff process, resulting in a measurable increase in conversion rates from meeting set to opportunity created.
- Implement AI-driven reporting workflows that provide real-time visibility into team KPIs and individual performance.
- Successfully scale the BDR organization by reducing the average ramp time for new hires by 15% through enhanced training programs.
- At least 2 years of proven experience managing a Business Development or Sales Development team.
- A documented history of consistently achieving or exceeding team quotas in a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in using AI-enhanced sales tools and CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) to analyze data and drive decision-making.
- Deep tactical expertise in multi-channel prospecting, including cold calling, social selling, and email copywriting.
- Experience building and executing onboarding and continuous training programs for sales professionals.
- Strong commitment to mission-driven work and fostering an inclusive team environment.
- High level of comfort with transparency and operating with urgency in a fast-paced setting.
The target base salary range for this position is $$106,400 - $131,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
