The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Plant Senior Manager on behalf of a well-established and growing industrial organization. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the production facility, ensuring operational efficiency, team effectiveness, safety compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement across the plant.
The position is ideal for a high-caliber engineering professional with strong experience in industrial operations, people management, production performance monitoring, and KPI-driven decision-making.
Role Purpose
The Plant Senior Manager will be responsible for the effective, safe, and performance-driven operation of the production plant, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the overall operation of the plant, ensuring productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety targets are consistently met.
- Oversee daily production activities and drive operational performance across manufacturing, maintenance, and technical support teams.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve key plant performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, downtime, quality, cost, and output efficiency.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement actions to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce inefficiencies.
- Manage, develop, and motivate plant teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, internal procedures, and operational best practices.
- Contribute to budget control, cost optimization, and plant performance reporting to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on production strategy, operational planning, and long-term plant improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a technically strong and operationally mature professional with proven experience in industrial leadership, plant operations, people management, and KPI ownership.
- Degree in Engineering from a Polytechnic / Engineering University
- Registered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE)
- Legal signing rights are required for the role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in a role involving team leadership and people management
- Solid background in plant operations, production supervision, or manufacturing management
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a structured, performance-driven industrial setting
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Strong experience in working with KPIs, operational metrics, and performance monitoring systems
- High level of comfort with production data analysis, reporting, and process performance tracking
- Experience using ERP systems and/or production monitoring tools
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding operational environment
