Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is a charming guesthouse in the heart of the Portofino. Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family. Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form.

We are looking for a Chef de Rang to join our DaV Mare team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community. He/she will report to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

→Fullfil the operations of the Food & Beverage on DaV Restaurant, according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures;
→Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service.
→Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate Guests’ needs; Establish and maintain good relationships with all Guests and handle requests and enquiries;
→Coordinate and monitor Commis de Rang assigned to him/her;
→Contribute to the achievement of the economic targets of the outlet.

Requirements

Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred;
Previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment or fine dining restaurant;
Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;
Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability;
Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player.

✓We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Chef de Rang;

✓Start date: October 2026 to End date: January 2027, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path;

✓Monthly gross salary + separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
