The primary tasks of a BDC Agent are, but not limited to: Communicating effectively by telephone and by e-mail with customers, co-workers, and management (this will include both inbound and outbound communications) and to schedule appointments for customers. The BDC Agent continually upgrades the knowledge of dealership products and services for the benefit of the customer.
What We Offer
~1 min read- $18.00 an hour plus commission
- Respond to all customer inquiries promptly, professionally and effectively.
- Utilize established dealership templates to communicate with customers by e-mail and telephone.
- Schedule, log and confirm appointments with customers.
- Communicate customer information to the Manager when an appointment is scheduled.
- Continually studies products, services and manufacturer information to enhance BDC Agent’s ability to assist customers.
- Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services.
- Constantly study used vehicle inventory on a weekly basis.
- Understand pertinent dealership processes.
- Comply with all customer handling and marketing functions as identified and directed by the Manager.
- Communicate with the Manager any/all potential customer issues or problems.
- Perform all outbound campaigns as directed by the Manager.
- Maintains professional manner and appearance.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Preferred one-year experience in an office environment, or related experience.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish a plus
This job requires sitting for long periods of time, standing, talking clearly, hearing both in person and over the telephone, use of hands to operate office equipment, and must be able to reach with both hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, or lift up to twenty-five pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
