Lead Cook

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who can work effectively in a structured correctional environment while helping maintain a safe, organized, and productive kitchen.

As a Lead Cook, you will play an important role in the daily operation of the facility kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

• →Leading, directing, and assisting inmates within the kitchen
• →Providing direction and instruction during meal preparation
• →Assisting with food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up
• →Preparing meals according to company recipes and procedures
• →Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
• →Supporting daily kitchen operations and meal service
• →Working professionally within a structured correctional environment
• →Performing physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A dependable and positive attitude
• The ability to work successfully in a structured correctional environment
• The ability to read and follow company recipes
• The ability to lead, instruct, and assist with kitchen duties
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• A professional approach to working with staff and inmates

Candidates must:

• Be available to work weekends and holidays
• Be flexible to work varying days and hours
• Successfully obtain the required facility clearance and approval
• Be comfortable working in a structured correctional setting
