Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Jackson County Jail in Jackson, MI.

What We Offer

~1 min read- →Lead and assist with daily meal preparation
- →Prepare, bake, and cook meals according to company recipes
- →Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- →Lead and instruct other kitchen staff
- →Follow company policies and facility procedures
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a structured correctional environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work varying shifts between 7:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Must be approved for clearance into the facility
Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
