NextGen Hospitality Solutions is excited to announce the opening of our new restaurant in Corpus Christi, and we are seeking a talented Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to join our team. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to shape the culinary experience in a vibrant and dynamic restaurant environment.
As the Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, leading a passionate culinary team, and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will have the chance to create innovative menus that reflect our commitment to excellence and sustainability in the restaurant industry.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, along with a supportive work environment that encourages creativity and professional development.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in the development and execution of seasonal menus
- →Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high culinary standards
- →Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control
- →Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- →Oversee food preparation and presentation
- →Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- →Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers
- →Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements
Requirements

- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
