Australia Branch Office. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on IE-IOT and Enterprise opportunities. This role is responsible for leading engagements with customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem to identify where Qualcomm technologies and platforms can accelerate commercial growth, enable new solutions, and expand market adoption. The position plays a key role in shaping regional business strategy and ecosystem engagement from opportunity identification through commercial execution and ongoing support. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: * Drive business development strategy, planning, and execution for IE-IOT and Enterprise growth across Australia and New Zealand. * Create customer and partner engagement plans that clearly communicate Qualcomm technology and platform value propositions for IE-IOT and Enterprise segments. * Identify key customers, partners, and growth opportunities to expand Qualcomm’s footprint in Australia and New Zealand. * Establish and grow strategic customer and partner engagements that accelerate adoption of Qualcomm solutions across IE-IOT and Enterprise markets. * Help define strategic direction for market positioning, value propositions, go-to-market priorities, and commercial growth initiatives in the region. * Develop business models and ecosystem partnerships spanning OEMs, ODMs, distributors, and solution providers to unlock IE-IOT and Enterprise opportunities. * Align strategy and execution with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and regional stakeholders to support business growth and customer success. * Partner with Qualcomm Product Management teams to influence roadmap priorities based on customer requirements and market opportunities in Australia and New Zealand. * Coordinate with Qualcomm business units to maximize alignment across technologies, platforms, and investments supporting IE-IOT and Enterprise growth. * Collaborate with internal regional business development and technical teams to strengthen ecosystem engagement and drive expansion across Australia and New Zealand. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, product management, or a related commercial or technical role. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with Qualcomm technologies, or adjacent ecosystem solutions relevant to IE-IOT and Enterprise markets. * Good understanding of the Australia and New Zealand market, including customer, partner, and ecosystem dynamics across IE-IOT and Enterprise segments. * An advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is a plus. * 10+ years of experience in business development, product management, sales, or related roles, preferably in technology, semiconductors, or enterprise solutions. Level of Responsibility: * Works independently on assigned priorities and manages day-to-day business development activities with limited supervision. * Applies sound judgment, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in dynamic and evolving business environments. * Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, with the ability to influence outcomes across technical and commercial teams. * Supports business case development, commercial planning, and opportunity assessment to help drive informed decision-making. * Manages multiple workstreams and priorities effectively, balancing near-term execution with longer-term business development goals. * Collaborates effectively across technical, commercial, and regional teams in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. * Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and strong organizational skills while building relationships and progressing opportunities independently. * Contributes to customer strategy, account development, and cross-functional execution to support growth across the region.
