We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join ShopBack's Merchant team in Hong Kong, driving business development across selected strategic categories including co-branded card, travel rewards, and finance partnerships. You'll evaluate, negotiate, and manage key merchant partners that support our business goals, owning everything from prospecting through to long-term relationship management.

Drive business development efforts across selected strategic categories, including co-branded card, travel rewards, and finance partnerships

Evaluate, negotiate, and acquire or manage key merchant partners that support the company's business plan and goals

Achieve agreed business success metrics within schedule

Conduct market and prospective client research for target categories, establishing long-term, positive merchant relationships

Develop ideas for merchant campaigns, managing the process and execution end-to-end

Research and prospect new business partners and market opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape go-to-market strategy and execution plans

3+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Partnerships

Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape and consumer trends in Hong Kong

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable with mid- to senior-level stakeholders

Good stakeholder management skills to drive outstanding results

Ability to derive and convey actionable insights from research and data

Self-motivated, driven, and an effective problem solver

Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflow and efficiency

E-commerce background

Creative, out-of-the-box thinker for merchant acquisition and campaign ideas
