The Special Events Sales Representative is responsible for driving direct-to-consumer sales at Traeger-branded special events and supporting our retail partners in-store and at retailer events nationwide. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment, and a passion for closing sales while embodying the Traeger brand experience.

• Commission: Commissions are earned by selling at Special Events and select Retail  Events. Annual Commissions may range from below $100,000 to above $250,000 depending on performance. 

Responsibilities

Special Events Sales: 

• Represent Traeger at special events (roughly 180 Special Event days + travel). 

• Engage individual customers at Traeger booths, pitch products, and close sales directly. 

• Special Events shows will include travel days, on-site setup and takedown days, and  several selling days (up to 21 days)  

• Bring the Traegerhood to life at every event by creating memorable, hands-on customer experiences. 

• Deliver exceptional customer engagement that converts interest into brand loyalty and sales. 

• Educate customers and dealers on the full Traeger ecosystem — from wood pellets to WiFIRE® connectivity. 

• Represent the Traeger brand with passion, authenticity, and enthusiasm in every interaction. 

• Proven success in high-volume, commission-based sales environments. Traeger Special Events experience is preferred. 

• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills. 

• High energy, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. 

• Frequent travel for events across the U.S. 

• Extended workdays, including weekends and holidays during events. 

• Ability to work long hours during events (up to 12-hour days, multiple days in a row) standing on your feet. 

• Willingness to travel extensively (overnight travel up to 90% of days worked) 

• Physical capability to “build” and “break-down” events, build grills for events and dealer setup, and lift and assist with product loading as needed.
