About the Role
The Director of Sales, Strategic Growth leads TRAFFIX's growth agenda by driving lane and mode penetration, increasing wallet share, reducing customer churn, and expanding adoption of Managed Transportation and Single Source solutions.
As a key leader within the Strategic Solutions team, you will own and scale the Strategic Business Review (SBR) Program, translating account strategies into measurable revenue, gross profit, retention, and service-line growth. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Pricing, and senior leadership, you will identify and execute growth opportunities, strengthen executive-level customer relationships, and ensure growth initiatives are aligned with customer objectives and TRAFFIX's long-term business strategy.
Success in this role requires a strong combination of commercial leadership, supply chain expertise, strategic planning, and executive influence, with the ability to convert complex customer needs into scalable, enterprise-wide transportation solutions that deliver measurable business results.
We are excited to offer a fully remote opportunity with a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $185,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set.

Key Responsibilities
- SBR Leadership: Lead and execute the Strategic Business Review (SBR) Program, ensuring consistent adoption and measurable customer growth outcomes.
- Growth Planning: Develop account growth plans that identify expansion opportunities across customers, lanes, modes, and service offerings.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with Sales, Operations, and Strategic Solutions leaders to execute customer growth initiatives and enterprise solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Leverage customer insights, market trends, and business data to prioritize opportunities and support growth strategies.
- Solution Expansion: Drive adoption of Managed Transportation, Single Source, and other strategic service offerings across key accounts.
- Executive Engagement: Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships to strengthen partnerships and support long-term retention.
- Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with Pricing and commercial teams to align solutions with customer objectives and profitability targets.
- Cross-Selling: Champion cross-selling initiatives and increase service-line penetration across existing accounts.
- Team Development: Coach and enable sales and operational leaders through training, tools, and playbooks that support customer growth and engagement.
- Customer Programs: Facilitate customer-facing workshops, SBRs, and engagement programs, including the X-Factor Program.
- Business Planning: Represent the Strategic Growth function in pipeline reviews, forecasting discussions, and business planning activities.
- Talent Strategy: Support talent development and recruitment efforts by identifying capability gaps and contributing to growth-oriented hiring decisions.
- Aligns with Company’s values: Model TRAFFIX's values by putting people first, raising the bar, winning together, and being the solution in all customer, team, and business interactions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, freight logistics of fulfillment services
- Proven success driving revenue, profitability, retention, and market expansion.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, using data and metrics to inform decisions.
- Experience indirectly leading and coaching high-performing teams built on accountability and engagement.
- Exceptional relationship management, expanding partnerships and reducing churn.
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate, influence, and present confidently to VP- and C-level customer stakeholders.
- Ability to lead change, scale programs, and turn strategy into measurable results.
