Responsibilities

→Prepares and cooks meals according to established recipes and approved menus.
→Complies with quality and consistency of the food to include food temperatures, portion control, palatability and attractiveness of food.
→Perform defined work routines using various dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by supervisor.
→Required to assist in the cleaning of the kitchen equipment, food storage area, and supply areas according to the community schedule.
→Required to remove garbage from the kitchen and to clean trash containers.
→Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
→Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
→Performs additional duties as assigned.
