Responsibilities
~1 min readDefine and execute the business development strategy for solar and energy storage solutions in Romania
Identify and develop new opportunities in utility-scale projects and large infrastructure deals
Drive market expansion and strengthen positioning in the renewable energy ecosystem
Build and manage relationships with:
EPC contractors
Energy developers
Utilities and key industry stakeholders
Establish long-term strategic partnerships to support business growth
Lead complex and long-cycle sales processes, including negotiation and deal closing
Identify and secure large-scale PV and BESS projects
Manage key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction
Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, engineering, delivery) to ensure efficient solution design and execution
Support the development of competitive and tailored technical-commercial proposals
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities
Contribute to strategic planning and market positioning initiatives
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy or Business or related field
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Business development, Sales within the energy, utilities, or renewable sector
Proven experience in project-based sales environments, preferably in Solar PV or Energy storage (BESS)
Strong business development and strategic sales skills
Solid understanding of renewable energy technologies (PV, BESS)
Proven ability to manage complex deals and long sales cycles
Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
Fluent in English and Romanian
Willingness to travel frequently within Romania and occasionally internationally
