A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with a premier private dental practice in Los Angeles, CA, to identify an exceptional New Patient & Hygiene Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, patient-centered practice where outstanding customer service, organization, and relationship-building are at the heart of everything we do. As the New Patient & Hygiene Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a seamless patient experience; from the very first phone call through scheduling, communication, and ongoing hygiene recare. Responsibilities • Welcome new patients with professionalism and warmth • Manage and optimize the hygiene schedule for maximum efficiency • Schedule new patient appointments and coordinate treatment appointments • Confirm appointments and minimize schedule gaps • Monitor hygiene reactivation and recall systems • Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service • Verify insurance benefits and update patient information • Maintain accurate patient records • Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, and the front office team • Help create an outstanding five-star patient experience What We’re Looking For We are seeking an energetic, organized, and patient-focused professional who enjoys building relationships and thrives in a fast-paced private practice. The ideal candidate understands the importance of schedule optimization, patient retention, and delivering an exceptional experience from the very first interaction. If you’re passionate about patient care and enjoy creating an exceptional dental experience, we’d love to hear from you. Requirements • Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience • Experience scheduling hygiene and new patient appointments • Strong knowledge of dental terminology • Familiarity with PPO insurance verification and benefits • Experience managing hygiene recare and patient reactivation • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Experience with MGE (Management by Objectives) systems and practice philosophies preferred • Experience with dental practice management software: Open Dental, Weave • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset Benefits Competitive Compensation (DOE) Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Growth Opportunities Bonus Structure 401K
