The Contracting Administrative Specialist will assist in Centria’s efforts to engage, implement, and maintain payors in order to comply with payor contractual requirements. Under the direction of the Director of Contract Administration, the Contracting Administrative Specialist will work closely with the Regional Contracting Administrators and other internal departments to ensure payor data, rates, and enrollment requirements are maintained.

Responsibilities

  1. Support Contracting Team activities and functions within the Contracting Department.
    • Maintaining and updating the Payor Address List in a timely manner, ensuring successful confirmation with each payor.
    • Collaborating with Regional Contract Administrators to complete payor enrollment and re-enrollment (application) documents.
    • Working alongside Regional Contract Administrators to update fee schedules and ensuring accuracy of rates.
    • Coordinating with various internal systems to ensure contractual and rate compliance.
    • Uploading and organizing of payor's contracts, fee schedules, amendments, and correspondence in the applicable contracting database.
    • Assisting Regional Contract Administrators in researching payor requirements as requested by internal parties and providing timely responses within the Contracts Ticketing System.
    • Keeping up to date with Centria's Contract Management System, payor portals, internal systems, dashboards, and other necessary information systems.
    • Reviewing the departments email inbox, triaging to applicable departments, and identifying areas of urgency.
    • Supporting research on payor requirements by state requirements and regulations.
  2. Projects
    • Support the Contracting Team with converting payor related information from spreadsheets into our internal practice management software.
    • Maintaining spreadsheets for market growth research and data.
    • Compiling documentation for applications and contract negotiations.
    • Assist with ad hoc reports as needed.
  3. Compliance with Centria’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws.
  4. Responsibility to report violations of Company policies or the Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to follow written instructions;
  • Ability to use computers and computer/software programs;
  • Ability to easily adapt to new software and applications;
  • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively.

Associate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to work in the Centria office. Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • Additional time or occasional shifts in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.
  • Overtime is not a planned part of this role.

While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
