Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Additional Department Summary: Provides administrative and operational support to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and serves as the primary administrative resource for graduate programs within the Capstone College of Nursing. Supports graduate program coordinators and the Graduate Clinical Coordinator through coordination of daily administrative operations, faculty credentialing, graduate faculty appointments, doctoral student faculty assignments, graduate program records, and communications. In collaboration with the Director of Graduate Student Services, coordinates the planning and implementation of graduate academic events, including DNP Intensives, Nurse Practitioner Skills Days, OSCEs, orientations, faculty meetings, and other graduate education activities. Maintains graduate faculty documentation in accordance with Graduate School policies and supports accreditation activities, new program implementation, strategic initiatives, and continuous operational improvement across graduate programs.
