Job Title: Office Manager

Full Time: 32 hours + per week

Job Summary:

Curated Events, a premier event rental company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Manager to oversee administrative, HR, payroll, and accounting functions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. This role is integral in maintaining organizational efficiency and supporting both local and corporate teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrates a high level of professionalism and adaptability.


Key Responsibilities:

Office Administration & Organizational Efficiency:

  • Manage and coordinate office procedures to support operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including general ledger tracking, budgeting, and labor cost management.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and ensure the office environment is organized and efficient.

Payroll, HR & Compliance:

  • Coordinate payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR functions in collaboration with the Corporate Payroll Manager.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, working closely with the management team.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in systems such as ADP, Employee Navigator, and benefits platforms.
  • Process and track Workers’ Compensation claims and vehicle accident reports.

Financial & Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) functions at the location level.
  • Process payments, deposits, and credit card reconciliations while coordinating insurance billing and financial reporting as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and maintain compliance with company financial policies.

Performance Standards:

  • Ensure payroll and HR processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a well-organized office environment, supporting operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive employee and financial information.
  • Provide outstanding internal and external customer service through clear communication and timely response to inquiries.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven experience in office management, administration, or executive assistant roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, payroll, and HR processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP Workforce Now.
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on financial accounting experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing timekeeping, payroll, and reporting.

Physical Requirements:
