Manager - Design (DEL-2)

We are looking for an experienced and talented Design Manager to join our team and lead the design and development of innovative projects that meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

In this role, you will oversee multidisciplinary design teams, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is a creative leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional project management capabilities, and a passion for design excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Oversee the development of design concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage the full design lifecycle from concept development through project completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project goals and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations, incorporating best practices where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design codes, and company standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, continuous improvement, and professional development within the design team.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in design management, preferably within large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, entertainment, or real estate developments.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction methodologies, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental best practices is highly desirable.
