Bilingual (Spanish/English) · Fully Remote

  • Location: Fully remote
  • Schedule: Full-time, aligned to Central Time (Mexico) for real-time overlap with the principal
  • Language: Fluent Spanish and professional English required (both used daily)
  • Start: Targeting October–November, with a ramp toward a January business launch
  • Engagement: Long-term, with room to grow into a Chief of Staff scope

You will be the right hand to a Mexico-based serial entrepreneur, investor, athlete, and philanthropist who runs a wide and fast-moving personal portfolio. His world spans early-stage technology investing, a non-profit focused on youth and addiction prevention, an active public-speaking and content presence, and a demanding endurance-sports calendar that keeps him traveling and often unreachable.

He is now launching a new business, with doors targeted to open in January. That launch is the immediate priority, layered on top of an already-full personal and professional life. Today, nearly all of it runs through his own head and phone. This role exists to change that.

This is not a support-desk position inside a structured company. It is a first key hire for a high-output individual who needs an operational partner he can trust with both a boardroom and a boarding pass.

About the Role

~1 min read

You will act as the operational backbone for someone with more ideas, ventures, and commitments than hours in the day. You will own his calendar, communications, travel, and logistics, coordinate the moving pieces of a new business launch, and quietly keep the rest of his life running while he is on a plane, on a stage, or on a start line.

Because so little process exists today, you will not inherit a playbook — you will build one. Early on, the job is to create order out of a genuinely busy, ambiguous environment. Over time, the person who succeeds here will take on more ownership and judgment, freeing the principal to focus on the work only he can do.

The right person treats this as a craft: anticipating needs before they are voiced, protecting the principal's time and focus, and becoming the one person who always knows what is happening and what happens next.

Responsibilities

~2 min read

Calendar & Communications

  • Own and defend the principal's calendar across business, foundation, athletic, and personal commitments
  • Manage inbox and messaging (email, WhatsApp), triaging, drafting, and responding on his behalf
  • Serve as the first point of contact and gatekeeper for external requests

Travel & Logistics

  • Plan and book frequent domestic and international travel, including complex, multi-stop itineraries
  • Coordinate logistics around speaking engagements, races, and events (registration, transport, accommodations, on-the-ground details)
  • Build day-of run sheets so he always knows where to be and what is next

New Business Launch Support

  • Coordinate the moving parts of the upcoming business launch: vendors, service providers, timelines, and follow-ups
  • Track action items and deadlines across the launch and keep initiatives moving when the principal is unavailable
  • Set up lightweight systems, tools, and files to bring structure to a new operation from day one

Investment & Deal-Flow Support

  • Organize inbound opportunities, decks, and introductions into a trackable pipeline
  • Schedule and prepare for investor and founder meetings, including background and briefing notes
  • Maintain records and follow-ups so nothing slips between conversations

Content & Public Presence

  • Coordinate podcast appearances, interviews, and social/content logistics (scheduling, prep, follow-up)
  • Liaise with collaborators, editors, and partners to keep a consistent public presence on track

Foundation & Community Coordination

  • Support coordination for his non-profit work, including scheduling, communications, and event logistics
  • Help manage relationships with partners, schools, and stakeholders

Personal & Lifestyle Management

  • Handle personal appointments, reservations, purchases, and errands that require remote coordination
  • Anticipate personal needs tied to his travel and training schedule
  • Protect the boundary between his time and the constant demands on it

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 3+ years supporting a founder, executive, investor, or high-profile individual as an Executive or Personal Assistant
  • Native or fully fluent Spanish, plus professional written and spoken English
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions with limited direction
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars and international travel
  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills across multiple concurrent priorities
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building structure where none exists
  • High discretion and sound judgment handling sensitive and personal information
  • Fluency with modern productivity and communication tools (Google Workspace, WhatsApp, project/task tools)
  • Experience supporting a solo founder or someone running multiple ventures at once
  • Exposure to a startup or new-business launch environment
  • Familiarity with any of: venture/investing operations, non-profit coordination, content/social logistics, or lifestyle management for a public figure
  • Chief-of-Staff-track ambition and the capacity to grow into broader ownership
  • Experience working remotely with a U.S. or internationally facing principal

You are:

  • Highly autonomous — you take a vague ask and return a finished result without hand-holding
  • Anticipatory — you solve problems before they reach the principal
  • Unshakably discreet — trusted with the personal, the confidential, and the reputational
  • Calm under chaos — a full, shifting, high-energy environment focuses you rather than rattles you
  • A builder — you create the systems and habits that make an operation run
  • Backbone with no ego — you push back when it matters and stay steady around a big personality
  • Reliable when he is unreachable — when he is on a plane, on stage, or mid-race, things still get handled

This is a rare seat next to someone building several things at once. You will not be one more assistant inside a large org — you will be the person a founder relies on to keep his world moving. For someone who wants real ownership, exposure across investing, business-building, and public life, and a path from Executive Assistant to Chief of Staff, this role offers a level of trust and growth most support positions never reach.
