At The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC, our expert legal team is a driving force behind our continued success. We’re in search of an experienced Personal Injury Virtual Assistant / Case Manager to join this team and help maintain the standard of excellence for which we’re known. The Personal Injury Case Manager will report directly to the Department Supervisor. This Case Manager will participate in all aspects of our pre-litigation personal injury practice. This includes opening claims, obtaining evidence, obtaining medical records and bills, assisting clients with treatment, assisting clients with their property damage claims and corresponding with insurance companies on a daily basis. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain communication with clients and provide case updates promptly
  • Monitor and maintain client treatment portfolio
  • Obtaining evidence, documents, medical records and medical bills related to our clients' case
  • Assisting clients with their property damage claims
  • Manage attorney schedule efficiently (attorney-client meetings, court appearances, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain electronic case files within the company's software/case management system.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Personal Injury experience as a Case Manager in Personal Injury
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Experience with Case Management Software
  • Great interpersonal skills, extending patience when working with individuals, and proactivity when issues arise.
  • Ability to maintain several responsibilities at once and time-management skills, prioritizing high and low-level demands adequately
  • Excellent customer service attitude in fast-paced environments
