We are seeking an exceptionally capable, highly organized Executive & Personal Assistant to support a busy executive who owns and manages multiple companies and serves on several boards.
This is a dynamic, hands-on position for someone who can confidently manage responsibilities across every area of the executive’s professional and personal life. Tasks will range from running personal errands and coordinating travel to organizing schedules, managing paperwork, and assisting with company invoices.
No two days will look exactly the same. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who anticipates needs, solves problems independently, communicates openly, and takes complete ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage professional and personal calendars, appointments, and reminders
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries
- Handle personal errands, purchases, returns, reservations, and household-related tasks
- Assist with company invoices, receipts, expense tracking, and basic administrative accounting tasks
- Organize documents, files, records, and correspondence across multiple businesses and board commitments
- Help prioritize competing requests, deadlines, meetings, and projects
- Communicate with employees, vendors, board members, business partners, and personal contacts
- Research options, gather information, obtain quotes, and present clear recommendations
- Track outstanding tasks and follow through until each item is fully completed
- Identify problems and proactively develop practical solutions
- Handle sensitive personal and business information with complete discretion
- Provide support wherever needed, including tasks that may fall outside a traditional job description

- Experienced with scheduling, travel planning, invoices, receipts, and general business administration
- Willing and able to work locally throughout the Metro Detroit area
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries
Position Details
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Part-time position based in Metro Detroit
- Combination of remote administrative work and in-person responsibilities
- Some flexibility in scheduling will be required
- Reliable transportation is necessary
- Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys creating order, solving problems, and becoming an indispensable right hand to a highly active executive. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and follows every task through to completion.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older and pass pre-employment screening.
- Regular and dependable attendance.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Use private vehicle for work-related tasks on occasion.
- Flexible schedule requiring availability for weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and moving up to 70 pounds.
- Must be able to be on your feet for several hours.
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend, and climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability and willingness to work in different locations-homes, or also our second location in Port Clinton, OH.
