ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) is seeking an experienced Team/Branch Administrative Specialist to join our Weather Services team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full-time on-site position at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC).    The Weather Systems team provides comprehensive support for two critical weather radar networks: the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) and the Weather Surveillance Radar 1988 Doppler (WSR-88D). In addition to these primary radar systems, the team maintains a diverse portfolio of other essential meteorological sensors and platforms, including the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS).   Citizenship Requirement All candidates must have the following to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance. Be a US Citizen. Have resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years. RealID Driver’s License/ID or current US Passport.   Relocation Requirement Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Oklahoma City, OK.    Education & Experience Requirement High School Diploma or GED Proven Administrative roles highly desired.    Required Skills  Proficiency in clerical and administrative tasks and procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Customer relations skills.    Preferred Skills  Advanced Spreadsheet skills such as working with PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and basic macros in Microsoft Excel. A demonstrated track record of identifying inefficiencies in office operations and successfully implementing new, streamlined workflows. Acrobat familiarity (Signing and creating forms, leaving comments, data entry, etc.) Familiarity with FAA NAS systems and FAA Second Level Engineering processes desired.   Essential Daily Job Duties Attend meetings to support standardization of organizational policies and procedures, and provide telephone support with clear explanations of administrative policies. Acquire office supplies and equipment, maintain administrative and technical files, and prepare correspondence and other documentation. Keep data current in systems such as DMS, PRISM, and additional administrative platforms. Review travel vouchers, track expenses, generate reports, manage travel in E2, and serve as the team’s training coordinator. Prepare presentations, schedule meetings, monitor email and calendars for FAA managers, and take meeting minutes. Call in and track facility trouble reports, distribute mail, and support property management as a property delegate. Perform quality review and input of time and attendance records into CASTLE, ensuring leave and overtime records are attached. Act as a PRISM purchase card requisitioner and/or reviewer and assist with inventory‑related administrative tasks.    Work Environment Full-time position with a standard work schedule. Lifting up to 15 lbs for small office supply orders or GFE. Cubicle environment.
