The Executive Assistant provides high-level, strategic administrative support to the Vice President – General Manager and other senior leadership as needed. The Executive Assistant handles a wide range of tasks involving highly confidential and critical company information and supports efforts to ensure best practices, smooth business operations, and achievement of department objectives and goals.
This is a temporary assignment starting asap through the end of January 2027, with possibility for extension or conversion depending on work performance and business needs. The role will be primarily on-site in the Werfen - Mira Mesa location.
The base hourly range for this role is currently $43.27/hr. to $52.88/hr. Individual compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Perform standard, advanced, and confidential administrative duties to support GM, VP and Sr. Department Executives including travel coordination, calendar management, and expense processing
- Provide general administrative support to VP GM and Sr. Department Executives on department projects, and other related responsibilities as needed.
- Plan employee outings, luncheons, meetings, off-sites, townhalls, and other events for the department.
- Function as the GM’s liaison for high level contacts and internal customers; interact regularly with all functions and employees at all levels.
- Responsible for POC Hemostatis calendar management, organization, and scheduling as needed.
- Responsible for the Department Recognition and Appreciation Program; maintain the Anniversary/ Retirement calendar, order gifts, etc.
- Organize Annual Leadership Forum, Business Reviews, and Board Meetings.

Requirements
~1 min read- Education: Associate degree preferred
- Experience: 7 years of related administrative experience in a corporate environment
Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.
- Strategic Thinker, able to lead and execute strategy.
- High level of Business Acumen and a Subject Matter Expert in Executive Administration
- Experience with international business a plus
- Ability to communicate across C-level
- Experience with budget management
- Excellent active listening skills
Travel requirements:Approximately 5% of the time for meetings as required by GM.
