Facilities Specialist (Temporary, Part-Time)

The Facilities Specialist at the Royal Palm Beach location assists in the day-to-day care and maintenance of all buildings and grounds. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, some weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time, hourly (non-exempt), temporary position for approximately 4–6 weeks, anticipated to run through June 2026.

• Oversee and actively participate in setup and teardown for services, meetings, classrooms, conferences, and special events on campus.
• Maintain buildings and grounds, including custodial support, minor repairs, and general maintenance.
• Monitor building conditions regularly and proactively address issues.
• Respond to work orders, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely completion.
• Safely operate vehicles, power tools, and equipment as needed.
• Assist with emergency responses and alarm calls as needed.
• Perform other tasks and projects assigned by campus leadership or Central Facilities to ensure smooth campus operations.

• High School Diploma 
• Associate's Degree or Higher preferred, but not required 

• Florida Driver's License

Classification: Full-time (25 hours/ week), hourly (non-exempt), including weekends and some week nights.
