Interactive Brokers is looking for an Office Manager for our NYC office. This role will ensure that the facility is fully operational and meets our global standards. They will work closely with building management, IT, HR, Operations, and other internal/external groups.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our facility.
- →Ensure office is compliant with State and Federal regulations.
- →Ensure all utilities are functioning properly (HVAC, Electric, Fiber, Water).
- →Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work.
- →Manage local physical security & safety policies and procedures.
- →MAC Work: Moves, Adds, & Changes to employee workstations.
- →Inventory management of IT ancillary hardware and building materials.
- →Maintain space management system.
- →Assist with running local projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional level experience
- 4+ years of experience in Office Management or equivalent related functions
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management/project management
- Strong procurement and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent at Excel
- Ability to communicate with senior level staff
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
