Unit Clerk

Organize and coordinate the appointments and clerical/administrative items for the 1st floor Unit Nurse.
Support the day to day organization of the unit, and assist with tasks that the Unit Manager assigns
Managing Supplies; Responsible to ensure the supply room is organized and unpacked when the items are delivered and ordered weekly, and to keep track of what we have and what is needed.
Fulfill any new request from nurses and staff on items that aren't part of the standard nursing order (purchasing) Maintain stock of whats needed on the units

Reception

Manage the Reception desk; Greet new patients direct families to their loved ones rooms. Field calls and direct them as needed.
Close up reception at end of day and ensure area is organized.
Work on clerical task as directed by the Reception Manager.
Clean and prepare new patient charts to be ready for new admissions.
Manage record requests; copy and prepare charts for review.
Maintain record room organization.
