Pet Supplies Plus Receptionist/Bather

The Pet Supplies Plus Bather is responsible for providing excellent customer service while bathing, checking in & checking out animals.

• →Provides excellent customer service, ensuring positive customer relations and satisfaction
• →Answer incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette
• →Schedules and confirms each appointment
• →Bathes, dries, and combs out each animal
• →Aware of tie in sales to each animal
• →Inputs customer information
• →Looks over dog as it is taken in for service
• →Understands products used for bathing
• →Understands customers need to a breed specific situation
• →Keeps work area clean and organized
• →Cleans and sanitizes all holding cages and bathing tubs
• →Follows all store and department policies and procedures.
• →Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some animal knowledge

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 
• Write routine reports and correspondence 
• Present information and respond to questions from customers or associates

• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
