Job Description Summary
The Temporary HR Operations Assistant will be supporting our HR team’s mission to transition to a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position will involve downloading, organization, and storage from our legacy HRIS. The Temporary HR Operations Assistant will also ensure smooth operations and a positive employee experience by uploading documents and information to the new HRIS. Additional administrative tasks may be assigned and the person in this role will collaborate remotely with the Quorum HR team.
This temporary role is an opportunity to gain working experience in Human Resources in a forward-thinking financial organization. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are critical, as are strong communication skills.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Carries out data transfer from legacy HRIS to new HRIS as assigned.
- Processes large volumes of employee data and documentation while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Files documents into appropriate employee digital files.
- Audits and validates migrated data to ensure information is transferred accurately, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Tracks and monitors assigned migration activities to ensure completion within established timelines.
- Works with HR team and HRIS vendor to address roadblocks and support the successful completion of the migration project.
- Assists with data cleanup, record reconciliation, and testing efforts to support successful implementation of the new HRIS.
- Works independently to complete assigned migration tasks while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and regular communication with the HR team.
Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills
- High school diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar discipline is a plus.
- 1 year of experience in HR operations, benefits administration, or other related HR functions is strongly preferred, including experience with multiple HRIS. UKG/Kronos experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy, and attention to detail when managing data migration and document processing tasks.
- Adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new HR technology tools and systems.
Experience with UKG strongly preferred; must have the ability to quickly become proficient with UKG or other HRIS systems.
- Must demonstrate high accuracy in proofreading documentation and correspondence to prevent errors and fraud.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Environmental / Physical / Mental Requirements
- Employees are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection, with a backup plan for using wired connections if Wi-Fi issues arise.
- Must have a smartphone with current iOS or Android OS.
- Must have a quiet, distraction-free workspace to ensure uninterrupted work and professional meetings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and vendors via chat, email, telephone, and video conferencing, both on and off camera.
- Capable of sitting at a workstation and working on a computer for extended periods.

Candidates must reside within the United States. We are not able to consider applicants who reside in Montana, Nebraska, Rhode Island, or Puerto Rico.
Quorum's opportunities are based in the U.S., and U.S. work authorization is required. We are not able to provide current or future sponsorship.
Compensation & Rewards
Compensation for this role is 24.00 - $27.00 per hour. We anticipate this role to last 3-6 months.
