Office CoordinatorAdministration & Office Support

A Senior Construction Administrator / Office Coordinator is needed to join Valori London, an established, family run demolition contractor based in a beautiful rural location north of Colchester, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, dependable professional who enjoys taking ownership, getting things done and making a genuine difference to how a business operates.

With over 50 years of demolition experience, Valori London handles everything from residential and commercial demolition to complex city centre projects. This is a traditional, family run business with a close team, plenty of character and a refreshingly informal working environment. The office, within a farmyard setting, is a small, independent space where site teams come and go throughout the day.

Joining as a Senior Administrator / Office Coordinator your role goes well beyond traditional administration. Working closely with the directors, you'll become the person who keeps things organised, from supporting tenders, managing paperwork and coordinating plant machinery to processing invoices, tracking payments, recording wages and handling general office enquiries. You'll also take ownership of important compliance administration, including Right to Work checks, insurance renewals, PQQs, audits and health and safety documentation.

A major priority will be improving the company's use of Construction Manager software. Valori is keen to modernise its systems and needs someone who can take the initiative, improve existing processes and introduce practical changes that make everyone's working life easier. You'll have the freedom to suggest better ways of doing things and, importantly, the trust to put them into practice.

This role will suit someone comfortable in a busy, down to earth construction environment where personalities are strong, communication is direct and no two days are quite the same. You'll need to be resourceful, thick skinned in the everyday sense, and happy working independently. One moment you might be preparing a tender, the next helping a director resolve an unexpected issue elsewhere in the family business.

To qualify: You should be a Construction Administrator, Office Coordinator, Office Manager, Senior Administrator, Operations Coordinator or similar with a CV that demonstrates...

  • Solid administrative experience within construction, demolition, plant hire or a similar practical industry
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, records and important deadlines
  • Experience using Construction Manager software, ideally with the confidence to improve its setup and everyday use
  • Confidence handling tenders, project documentation, invoicing and general business administration
  • Strong IT skills, with the initiative to introduce better systems and make effective use of modern technology
  • A dependable, proactive personality, comfortable making decisions and getting on with the job without constant supervision

Experience with Xero, RAMS, PQQs or construction compliance would be advantageous.

In return, you'll join an established family business where your contribution will genuinely matter. Expect a varied role, considerable autonomy and the freedom to make the office your own. This is initially an office based position for the first 12 months, with potential hybrid or remote flexibility thereafter for the right person.

If you're looking for a role where you're trusted to take charge, bring order to a busy environment and become a valued part of the business, we'd love to hear from you.
