Receptionist

Spire Little Aston Hospital are currently looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist to join the team on a full time and permanent basis. You will be a first point of contact at the hospital for patients, so will politely and courteously, register and direct patients, consultants and hospital teams as required, in a proactive, warm, professional and caring manner. 

• →Welcoming patients, supporting with check in using an electronic tablet.
• →Ensuring accuracy of information and updating as required
• →Directing patients, consultants and visitors, to the hospital in a warm, professional and caring manner. 
• →Answering in coming phone calls 
• →Various admin and data entry tasks
• →Booking appointments 
• →Sorting incoming post
• →Managing lost property
• →Issuing  including badges for visitors, booking taxis.
• →Responsible for health and safety aspects including, supporting in fire evacuations and emergencies 
• →Supporting clinical staff 

• A personable individual with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Good basic PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent customer service skills
• High degree of accuracy in administration
• Great communication skills at all levels
• Experience in a customer service environment 
• Experience with information management systems
• Switchboard experience
