We are adding to staff and hiring a Facilities Specialist to join our team in our Midtown Manhattan offices. This is a new role on our service-oriented Facilities team that works onsite 5 days a week to meet the needs of employees across 9 floors. Our Facilities team is proud of the work we do in keeping our facilities safe and clean for all employees and guests. We value people and team-building skills and can anticipate needs before they arise.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform daily walkthroughs of the space to identify problems such as but not limited to: spills/trash, lighting issues, smells, missing nameplates, and property damage.
- →Assist the Associate Manager of Facilities in facilities maintenance and operations.
- →Manage all terrace landscaping, beverage machines, snacks/breakfasts, along with ordering inventory and supplies associated.
- →Restock the kitchen regularly, wipe counters and tables, remove trash, clean high-touch areas like fridge handles and microwaves.
- →Coordinate set up and break down for events and happy hours.
- →Deliver mail and packages.
- →Oversee vendor work and request/manage COIs.
- →Execute office and desk moves.
- →Perform minor carpentry repairs like patch/paint as well as installations of artwork and bulletin boards, shelving, etc.
- Ability to handle multiple, competing, priorities and pressure in a fast-paced environment
- 2 years of facilities experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Slack, Jira, & Building Engines is a plus
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 30lbs
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a propensity for action
A good faith estimate of the compensation is $26.45/hour upon hire. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors).
